A Master of Thoughts
“Of all the beautiful truths pertaining to the soul which have been restored and brought to light in this age, none is more gladdening or fruitful of divine promise & confidence than this - that man is the master of thought, the molder of character, & the maker and shaper of condition, environment and destiny. As a being of Power,Intelligence, & Love and the lord of his own thought, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which may make himself what he wills.”
- James Allen
This was quoted in Unassisted Childbirth by Laura Shanley, which I just finished reading. Loved it, although I am not totally in line with all of her beliefs, there is still a lot of truth to most of it. I, however will not go blindly into the night when I have my UC. I believe in the power of our minds but I don’t think that our minds alone can do all the work. ![]()
